Mariscos Las Islitas “Estilo Nayarit” is a 99% seafood-based small family business ranging from food trucks for a quick bite when you’re on the go to a full sit-down restaurant and bar experience. Founded in 1992, the first Mariscos Las Islitas food truck opened its serving windows for business in the small town of Lamont, CA. located in southeast area of Kern County. Serving only a few dishes, including ceviche, shrimp cocktail and oysters, it soon became a favorite food truck destination with area patrons. That popularity inspired us to take a big leap and open a fully-furnished, sit down restaurant and bar in the city of Lamont, as well as expand our roaming kitchens to include more food trucks in Bakersfield, CA. With over thirty-one years of providing our customers with a quality dining experience, our company is going strong with four neighborhood restaurants and six mobile food trucks circulating throughout the Central Valley with expanded menus now offering up to 70 plus food options to suit all customer tastes. As the years have progressed, our company continues to grow thanks to the high demand for our food and the loyalty of our customers.
